Informer is a research survey panel created for UK teenagers and their parents. We have created a safe online environment where you can complete surveys in exchange for credits. We want you to enjoy yourself on here - but need to tell you:

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW

1. Any personal details you knowingly provide us with through forms and our email, such as name, age, address, telephone number etc.
2. In accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct, the only data obtained from a child aged under 16 when applying to be an Informer, is the name and contact details of a parent. This is purely for the purposes of obtaining parental consent for the child to be part of the Informer panel, to complete surveys on a regular basis. The only information collected from the child at this point is their email address, gender and date of birth.
3. Researchbods Online Limited is registered as a Data Controller under the Data Protection Act and takes its responsibility for data very seriously.
4. Details of any child who does not have the consent of their parent will be permanently deleted.
5. All staff members of Researchbods Online Limited have been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau.
6. Any voluntary information you may wish to provide on your personal profile such as lifestyle preferences and personal style. Please note that it is not a requirement for you to disclose such information. Any such information disclosed in your personal profile can be modified at any time by viewing your profile, making the changes and clicking submit.
7. Your preferences and use of email updates, recorded by emails we send you (if you select to receive email newsletters on products and offers). Users reserve the right to opt out of such communication by de-selecting that option on their newsletters page.
8. Your IP Address: this is a string of numbers unique to your computer that is recorded by our web server when you request any page or component on the Website. This information is used to monitor your usage of the Website.
9. Data recorded by the Website which allows us to recognise you and your preferred settings, this saves you from re-entering information on return visits to the site. Such data is recorded locally on you computer through the use of cookies.
